Played a twilight round on a breezy fall day. This is an exceptional public golf course with challenging holes. The conditions were terrific on the fairways and greens. Even with the perforated greens due to the time of year, they were still in great shape. Staff at cart retrieval and pro shop were excellent. The deal offered for the twilight round at 45 with cart is the best in the city - given it is probably the best public course in the region.

Played the 9-hole Marchwood course in November! It was in decent shape considering the time of year; greens has been aerated but it wasn't a big issue. Was disappointed that so many golfers had not repaired their ball markers, which made putting difficult at times. People should be more considerate. All those high-angle shots are bound to produce ball markers, so if you're fortunate to hit the green from the tee, take a moment and do your part! Management could help by posting signs reminding golfers to stoop and repair.
I can't believe this was my first time photographing a wedding at The Marshes. I have fallen head over heels and it is now one of my favourite wedding venues in Ottawa. The atmosphere is great, the staff are all super helpful and friendly, and the grounds are beautiful for portraits! Came a second time for a Paint Nite event and loved it just as much.
Awesome course and I paid fall rates so the price was great! It was cart path only which was understandable but very long. Next time I'll walk with a pull cart, it will be a faster round.
