Two great positives: the size of the room was very generous; the location from station could not have been better. Service was very good, rooms were clean... and it started to snow in Kanazawa the day we arrived - loved it.

Breakfast was not hot or good. The room self service drinks did not have sugar. Although I did like the roasted green tea. The bathroom did not have a trash can. The bath powder provided with the room was good though. Good access to the train/ bus station and the city center.

Garden Hotel has a great location just a couple of minutes from the central train station. It has a great staff who do their job efficiently. However, the installations are pretty old and the room is very small.

I love this hotel's location , right outside the Kanazawa station! this was perfect for us as we were exploring kanazawa mostly by train. Rooms were acceptable, comfortable and clean. The mall near the Station catered to our needs for meals through their many restaurants.
