Dr. Caruthers is great! He takes time with his patients- he really helped me with my skin problems. He has an old office in an old building- so he can keep costs down. He's an 'old-school' doc with an 'old- school' bedside manner (and a funny guy!). Doc 5 stars, office staff 0-3 stars (depending on who 'helps' you...)

While the office is not very modern Dr. Caruthers is compassionate and treats his patience with care. I've seen the Dr. and well as my child who still use some of the over the counter creams he suggested back then. I feel he takes pride in his job and he explains what he's doing and the cause of the issue. One thing that doesn't get old is good people, Dr. Caruther's seems to be just that.

I love Dr Caruthers. I been seeing him for quite some time and although some medication is high they always work.

I would give zero stars if available. I scheduled an appointment for my daughter about a month ago. I picked her up from school early and made the 45 minute drive to his office. The building is very sketchy looking on the outside and rundown on the inside. I can’t comment on the look of his office since the door was locked and we couldn’t get in. There was a note on his door which said one of his employees had been in contact with someone with CLOVID ( which should’ve said COVID) and the office would be closed until October 26. Patients would need to call to reschedule. Would’ve been nice if the practice would’ve called patients and let them know that the facility was closed down for the next few weeks. I wasted 2 hours out of my day, pulled my daughter out of school early, all for nothing. And when you call, there is no answering service, not even an answering machine. This is no way to treat customers. Terrible customer service all around. I will not be calling to reschedule my appointment with this office.

So I went in for an initial consultation and was given two scripts. I took them to the pharmacy and couldn't get them so a couple weeks later I called to see if he can switch the medicine to something else I never recieved a call back and was sent a bill saying I didn't send in insurance information. \u200d️ I was disappointed I heard good things about him too but I'm definitely not going back to him.

It is easy to get someone on the phone when you call Dr. Caruther's office and the staff was generally polite, which is why my review is elevated from 0 stars to 2. However, I had an appointment scheduled with Dr. Caruthers two days ago and ended up not staying for the appointment. The clinic is located in a building where the inside is run down and not very clean. The waiting room of the clinic feels dark and dingy and personal health information was sitting in the open in the administration area. My appointment was scheduled for 10 AM. When still waiting at 10:20 AM, I asked how much longer the wait would be since I needed to be back at work by noon to see patients of my own. The receptionist said she didn't know but there were 3 patients ahead of me and the clinic was running late. I asked her to check with Dr. Caruthers about the wait time when he was between patients. At 10:33, I asked again and she said there were now 2 patients ahead of me. She still didn't know how long the wait would be and was resistant to asking Dr. Caruthers. I think that it is unprofessional and disrespectful of patients' time to not apologize for delays and provide an estimated wait time. So, I decided to leave without seeing Dr. Caruthers. It is frustrating that I waited 5 weeks for an appointment and now have to wait 4 weeks to see a provider in a different clinic.

Waiting for an appointment and agree with other reviews - the office is very rundown and dirty. I wish I had canceled when I entered the lobby as I felt the urge to do. Now I’m wondering what quality of care I’m going to get. Sigh. Next time more research! Update: I did walk out. I couldn’t see spending the money to be seen by someone I wasn’t sure I could trust.
