Kansas City Hardscapes was one of three companies that I asked to give a bid. First let me say, they blew the other two companies out of the water with their bid! Now, let's talk about their workmanship......outstanding! We asked for a deck extension with pergola and a patio extension with fireplace. Wow! My husband and I were over the top pleased with how it all turned out. The owners, Benjie and Kit Lewis, are local to the KC area and were so great to work with through the entire process. Trust me when I say, the attached photos do not do the work justice. If you want a competitive bid and an outstanding product, go with Kansas City Hardscapes!
This was the best experience I have ever had on a large home project. From our first meeting with Mark to come up with a design to our final walk through with Derek we could not be more impressed by their professionalism. Derek and his team have amazing craftsmanship and made our backyard beautiful! They paid attention to the small details and really kept us informed throughout the project. We had Kansas City Hardscapes install a fire pit with seating area, a grill station, brick-lined paths, and a pond with waterfall. We couldn't be more pleased with how it turned out. Derek and his crew were the best contractors we have used hands down. We really appreciated Derek's hands-on approach, especially with his help in selecting materials. He was on-site daily, not only supervising but actually doing the work. It's clear he has a real passion and knowledge for what he does. From start to finish, Kansas City Hardscapes exceeded our expectations. We cannot recommend them enough!
We love our new paver patio and steps built by Kansas City Hardscapes! We now have a seating wall to define the area and add extra seating as well as a beautiful pergola to add shade to part of the patio. Mark was great in working out a design for the project, helping us pick out pavers that we love while fitting into our budget and suggesting different options to make our patio special. The crews were polite and worked with us when minor adjustments needed to be made during the construction. And when we were done, the owner made sure that we were happy with the results. We can’t wait till it is warm enough to use our new beautiful patio.
