Had to go grab my driving record. Really was dreading having to go but WOW they’ve got a great system! Someone was outside giving out tickets for your place in line and calling numbers when ready. They only allowed a few people inside at a time. Since I was only getting my driving record, they brought me straight inside and I waited maybe 5 minutes. Everyone was so kind and helpful! Thank you for what you do and for keeping us as safe as possible!!

I’m stunned by the verbal abuse dished out to Kansas City residents by the manager, Mike Sharp. If he was in the private sector, he would have been fired. Instead, he verbally abused customers. If the customer defends himself, he is banned from the service. There is no way to complain as it’s the manager himself who is the abuser. This is outrageous behavior for the KC DMV office which has a monopoly. Go to the North Oak KC DMV office to be treated with respect and kindness. 12/30/20

Were told to come back at 8 because it was getting late the night before. Luckily Mike showed up because unfortunately the opening lady had a wreck because the employees knew nothing about him telling us to come back the next morning. They didn't open until after 8:35 am and they have a line of people waiting in the snow. And the supervisor isn't here for the License Plate side so we can't get an ID until she gets here. Mike apologized and was super nice and promised I would get taken care of tomorrow.

I had a good experience here. I needed to get both tags and a licence. They issued me two line numbers. It was a nice day so I waited outside until I was asked to go inside when my number was getting ready to come up. I was able to get both tasks done in about an hour and the staff was knowledgeable and helpful. If you have your documents, it's not a bad process.
