Blekinge Museum holds an excellent collection of archaeological finds from all over Blekinge, and their exhibitions showcase the development of the county from prehistory up to the present day. Furthermore, Grevagården, the former residence of the governor of Blekinge, Admiral-General Hans Wachtmeister, contains exhibits from Karlskrona, dating from the 17th century onwards and holds entire furnished rooms from different time periods. The museum is well worth a visit or two. Take your time while browsing the exhibits - there is a lot to learn!

It's pretty small museum, but with beautiful garden. A lot of information written in swedish only. Also there are a lot of things to do with kids, but even if you're traveling without kids this place worth spending half an hour to look around and see the garden
Free entrance, Lack of parking space near, Small sized museum.
On the waterfront and located in historic old buildings with a wide selection of artifacts covering the history of the area - with a strong connection to the sea and naval activities. Two wooden boats are moored in front of the museum in the summer.
There is a good playground for kids
Absolutely gorgeous for families with kids
