We stayed one night in this cabin, and one night in the beach house. We booked a two night stay at their 6 sleeper cabin with a bathroom. The first cabin had an ant infestation. So, we were moved to an identical cabin for one night. The summer staff we talked to was a bit difficult to deal with. (she basically told us that we have to accept the ant infestation, or reduce our stay to one night. However, we insisted on her speaking to a manager, who then let us upgrade one night in the beach house at a reduced rate.) it was a hassle moving cabins in the morning after the first night, but they got our beach house ready as fast as possible. They also offered a complimentary cabin cleaning of the first cabin, and a reduction in the cost of the cleaning of the beach house. The cabin was clean and cozy, and felt really "cabiney", yet had all these great amenities like a dishwasher, microwave, stove top and oven. The beach house was awesome as well! It was a nice villa like cabin, where our unit had beach front views. It was really special, and can sleep 8.

SEK295,/night is absolutely not expensive for a campsite with almost all possible facilities, including free showering, electricity and free Wi-Fi. For the tent campers who rent a cheaper pitch without electricity, there are refrigerators where they can keep their food fresh. Fortunately, the management of the site has decided not to chop off all the trees to degrade the camp to a kind of campervan parkingplace, (like neighbour site Skutberget) but decided to save a lot of trees, so the "tenters" (like myself) aren't burnt out of their airbeds when the sun rises in the morning. There is a nice beach on the camp, with a wide view over one of the bays of Vänern, the largest Swedish lake. Also a small marina is available for the guests with a small yacht. More toilet- and shower capacity in "Gunnars Hus" would be a good approvement, but if you don't like waiting 'till your fellow camping guests are ready showering or "toileting", you just have to walk about 200 or 300 meter further to the "Pelles Hus" where there is plenty of toilets and showers to choose from. There are a lot of children on the camp, so sometimes the toilet seats are wet, so antiseptic cleaning towels in your toilet bag are recommended! Conclusion, apart from these imperfections, the site is absolutely a must. 9/10

We have been here a few days and enjoyed it a lot. We rented the small cottage with toilet. Compared to other campsites in Sweden this one was nice placed, clean, friendly employees etc. The service houses are a bit outdated. But they were clean and that's the most important. This camping earns the five star rating.

Very nice and clean beaches. There's a beach which allow dogs which is great since my partners in law have a dog Sand beaches and sand bottom in the water, it isn't too deep either which seems to attract families but nothing that disturbed us.

I like this place because of its beach, very fine sand and clean water ..the only thing is the restaurant have always have seagulls around so if you planning to have a romantic dinning experience better watch out your foods before it will be eaten by the seagulls .I'm telling you they are fast
