Changa Manga - Multan Road, Changa Manga,
N/A
Bright sunshine winter season , green gardens , long breaths , deep thoughts , flowers , river, sun , sky, far away journey, away from home, far away from the world, happy people in the world. It is one of the most famous forests in the world and has an ancient status. Initially, its purpose was to fuel the railway locomotive, then it was gradually converted into a garden. Large and small beautiful gardens are also found here to live in. A beautiful river in which boats run and people often cook their own food here and enjoy the beauty of the forest. I personally like its forest the most.

Overall can be a nice picnic spot it’s gardens offer a lot of room for outdoor activities such as barbecue, boating, play areas for kids . From Lahore on multan road it was a painful drive due to heavy and irregular traffic while on our way back we took Raiwind road. The road conditions are not good after first 5-10mins of drive. It’s under construction so it took more time.
12 Dec 2020: Visited as part of plans to bring domestic and international tourists to this national treasure. I was there while visiting 3rd National Guava Festival at MGH Guava Valley, Dhool village stop by ATDCP. Left Karachi to Pattoki Railway Station in about the worst Train Awam Express to reach in 27 hours. Then took 2 rickshaws to reach Changa Manga Forest Zakheera. My appointed Tour Guide Rehman Ali received me and we went around exploring and learning so much of this delightful treasure. It has Amusement park, children park, zoo, Animal safari park, an irrigation canal and a 4 kms long train track for the miniature train that gives tourists tour of the beautiful man-made Forest of Colonial British era. BB Health Tours will provide guided tours of this place and much more. Ali Vazir

Dec 2020: Visit by BB Health Tours for 3rd Annual Guava Festival at Sharaqpur. Visited this beautiful Man made forest which is a national treasure. It has children park, zoo and wonderful train track spread over 4 km. Same is worth walking on the fallen leaves. The environment is breathtaking and refreshing. A must visit. First stop at Patoki Railway station, then take rickshaw to Zakheera Changa Manga from Imambargah Bus Stop.
Nature is always beautiful. But more forests must be planted. Preservation and maintenance must be done after regular intervals.
