This is always a great place to for the whole family. You've gotta keep an eye on the little ones on the climbing net, but everything else is super safe. Tennis courts, basketball courts, and soccer fields surround the main play area. It's also just a short walk to Mary Jo Peckham. There's a small pavilion that can be used for parties, etc, and it has a small BBQ pit. I'm not sure, however, if that requires reservations or if it's a first come, first serve basis.

This park has a big train shaped play area,It has all the things that a regular neighborhood hood park has and then some more. it’s design is lot more fun. There are different slides, double swings to enjoy with a toddler. This is the best free park i have been too

It was busy at Mary Jo Peckham park so we headed to the 'train park' for a change. Great parking, lots for the kids to play on and bathrooms too. We found this park challenging when the kids were very young, you can't always see where they are. Much easier with kids 5 or with two grown ups. Basketball courts adjacent too. Good park.

I really enjoy coming out here with my kids and with our my kids. For the most part it’s usually nice and clean. On sunny days the park can be very busy and parking can be hard. You may have to walk a little extra but I don’t mind. I love to walk around the trail and it can be so relaxing a good way to decompress after a long day. The restrooms are clean for the most part, but never have toilet paper. I am that lady who comes prepared so I usually leave the roll for others.
