Im from New Orleans and recently moved to Houston-Katy area all i can say is wow. Yaya's Poboys will definitely be a home away from home. I ordered the shrimp po boy and it tasted like I was eating a poboy from the city. The staff was friendly and welcoming! Cant wait to try more from the menu.

I had the roast beef and gravy. Awesome! Meat was lein! The yiug kid at the counter was alert, aware, and on top of his job. The owner was grrat to talk with as well. Highly recommend this place

This place is absolutely amazing. I had the shrimp poboy and it was like being back home in New Orleans. The bread pudding is to die for! Highly recommended! Will be back many many more times!

Finally, REAL New Orleans Poboys in the Houston Metropolitan area!!!! I love it! Yaya's Poboys is a block from Woodcreek Junior high. The inside is so authentic and refreshing. I love the green and yellow and the fleur de lis! It reminds me of home in every way! We tried so many different things! For the soft opening we went to , there was crawfish and it was fantastic (so I heard from family and friends). I cannot each shellfish but it was fresh and done in the patio. It was a hit. I had the hamburger poboy and have gone back nearly every day for one. I wonder how have I been surviving here without great seasoned food! The shrimp poboy is a classic and favorite. You have to get it dressed. Also the hotdogs. the kids have tried many of the specialties. Also ordered catfish poboy, catfish plate, hot sausage poboy for family and everyone loved loved loved them! Everything is made to order and comes out perfectly. It is a REAL poboy shop so you order and then it is brought out and voilà! Also I love that the receipts say laissez les bon temps rouler. The staff are super polite and they deliver the food to you. You can also order. I heard some people getting food delivered last week. It has authentic NOLA chips like chee weeks and drinks like Delaware punch. soon it will also have Big shot, I heard. cannot wait. It has great parking and space to eat outside also. there is a payio in the back as well. I love this restaurant. the owner Yaya is a beautiful person and native New Orleanian. She takes great pride in really just making sure you have great tasting food from home in an upbeat, unique and authentic environment. I wholeheartedly recommend!

11-11-2020 They are the nicest people. The Shrimp Po’boy is classic . We will call for a pickup if we are in a hurry. They use masks and gloves for safety. It is very clean inside.
