I've been going to Kavanaugh Eye for eight years and they always provide excellent care. The eye exam is very thorough, I just had my annual today, and the staff is so helpful, from helping me select frames to answering any questions I may have, whether related to healthcare coverage, schedules or any other topic. The doctor and his staff are patient with all my questions and make sure I have all the information I need and that my eyes are well-cared for. I highly recommend them.

I visited Kavanaugh Eye Care in August for an eye exam and a contact lens fit. The first person I talked to at the reception was very nice and professional. Dr. Guice was professional for the most part as well. But, although he was always wearing gloves, he never changed them to examine my eyes. He did it with the same gloves he was touching the door knobs. I didn't appreciate this, specially in times of COVID. The big problems came when it was time to pay though. At this time, I talked to someone else at the reception. She just told me the final price, without providing a detailed bill. When I asked why I was paying that much, she just showed me the draft she had wrote on a piece of paper. I had to insist to get an detailed receipt. When she finally gave it to me, I noticed that they charged me for a specialty contact lens fitting. I found this odd, since I've been wearing contacts for years, so I asked why they were charging me a specialty fit, instead of a standard fit. The receptionist didn't seem to know, and said this was how the insurance reads their codes. I wasn't satisfied with the answer. She said she could call the insurance to ask about it, and when I said I'd like that, she acted like there wasn't enough time because they were about to close for the day. Then, she reluctantly agreed to call them. She went inside another room, and came back almost immediately after. I doubt she had time to call anyone. She told me that the reason why I was charged a specialty CL fit was that I was a new patient. I find this a bit weird, but the worst was really the lack of transparency and the attitude of the receptionist. They also did not give me my prescriptions. I had to call them later and after exchanging a few e-mails, I finally managed to get them to send my glasses and contacts prescriptions. Obviously, I went somewhere else to buy my contacts lenses, and I'm not planning to come back to this clinic.

I am new to Little Rock and I wanted to find an optometrist I could call my own. I’m so excited that Dr. Guice and his staff at Kavanaugh Eye Care fulfilled my expectations. They were prompt, my appointment was scheduled quickly and checking in was a fast process. The staff were professional. My questions were answered and the atmosphere was comfortable. I feel blessed to have found such a wonderful place and I highly recommend Kavanaugh Eye Care.

I normally don’t write any reviews, Called multiple times for faxing my prescription to my current location, after back and forth multiple times, they only faxed my glass prescription but not my contact prescription. so I had to call again. The front desk worker was rude saying I gave them wrong fax number which I double checked multiple times wasn’t wrong. Hangup on me right after the phone which was extremely unprofessional, surly they don’t care customer who moved away.

Been going to this clinic for five years now and its the only one id ever consider. They go out of their way to explain the process of what they are doing and what the optical scans show, every person in there is a delight

I’ve been here for an updated eye exam and had a great experience. However, today I ruined my last good contact before leaving town tomorrow! I’m going to be driving and in a wedding, so I did not want to wear my “coke-bottle” glasses. Kelsey and Stephanie at the front desk were amazing!! I did not have enough time to order and receive new contacts...they took my new order and gave me a new pair for my trip! Absolute life savers! Consistent great customer service from this place!!
