A fabulous location. We were planning on a one night stay but liked it so much we stayed for 2. Great facilities and everything is very clean and well maintained. Wonderful owner, very helpful and friendly - brought us fresh and smoked snapper just caught - how lucky were we. We will definitely be back with friends. Highly recommend a visit.

Beachfront motel unit. All basics supplied and unit clean. Minimal gear provided in kitchen. Lovely situation and helpful camp manager. Spades provided for a visit to hot water beach.

Awesome setup, very clean and great staff. We had a group with 4 cabins, fishing boys on the boat, pregnant ladies and toddlers all had a fantastic time. Will definitely be back, thanks heaps for a great weekend.

Awesome beach front camping and motel units. Friendly team, fresh fish. Close to all cafe, pub, garage. Best camp ever.

It's a basic functional motel... Certainly needs a bit more love and cleaning... Bbq bottle was empty.. And there was no interest to fill it or check it.. I'd asked on the sat about it..for use on the Sunday... Bedding was only just warm enough and no extra blankets in our unit... Wouldn't take much to bring it up to a better standard.. Location was perfect

Very casual laid-back camping ground right on the edge of the harbour. Our waterfront studio motel was very clean and had a lovely view. Helpful and friendly staff.

A delight to find such awesome little campground all there way here. Super clean, friendly management and really close to town. Kawhai is a town that invites you to relax.
