Chris would have loved to see this! RIP Beneath these Western Skies Cowboy.... Remember to leave a can of Copenhagen on his guitar

The man was a legend and I am impressed by this monument. It was very well sculpted and honored Chris' rodeo and music together. Although I did not come to Wyoming specifically for this I would not have traveled through the state without seeing it! Rest well Beneath These Western Skies!

Beautiful park. Beautiful statue in the park. Catty(?) Corner to the gift shop/memorial foundation. Which sadly was not open and had no hours listed.

Real nice little park .. a wonderful tribute to World Champion Bareback Rider Chris LeDoux. 1948-2005. Also a country music star with 6 million records sold. Town of Kaycee WY known for producing about a dozen or so professional rodeo stars. And the town has a population of just over 250!

Pretty cool memorial to one of the best real country western singers America has ever been privileged to have. The statue has great detail of Mr. Chris and the bronc. Hard not to shed a tear upon arrival.
