This restaurant is in the hotel tugged away in the small town of Kayenta. We had the tacos, their Saturday night special - chicken fried chicken and burger - burger was slightly dry but tacos and fried chicken were bread pudding and ice-cream was also a good way to end the night. I would recommend this Navajo traditional restaurant to people passing through.

I’ve been staying at the Hampton Inn for the last week nearly and I’ve had dinner in the attached restaurant many nights. I recommend going with the specials as things are pricey otherwise but entirely worth it!!! The staff are excellent and so very friendly they made me feel like home and I enjoyed seeing them and chatting with them everyday! Now, for the best advice you’ll get... if you can only afford to eat here one night then it has to be Wednesday for the braised lamb shank!!!!! Don’t doubt me. Just do it. For dessert grab a mud pie and a couple spoons if you’re not alone. Enjoy!! I wish tomorrow was Wednesday again omg!

There may not be several restaurants in Kayenta, but be sure to visit this before or after your Monument Valley visit. We had goat sandwich with fried bread (which is delicious) and the healthy and filling Taco Navajo which is fried bread covered with delicious veggies and minced meat. To finish our experience, what could be better than a Navajo fusion dessert, fried bread topped with baked cinnamon apples and vanilla ice cream? Yummy... overall 36 dollars, more than worth every single buck. Sheila was our host for the dinner, and was very kind and nice!

I was greeted warmly by my server. The menu is somewhat unique, serving a couple of Navaho items. I went with fry bread and Navaho tacos. The fry bread was very good but there wasn't a lot of flavor to the taco. It was presented nicely but lacked any taste.

Lovely restaurant inside a very nice Hampton Inn. We came on a Wednesday night was able to enjoy the Lamb Shank and it was delicious! I had my lamb in a fry bread. My husband had the Lamb Shank dinner. Portions were very generous and we could have split a meal and still been full. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting with Navajo decor. We are used to enjoying a glass of wine, but being a dry county, we tried the non-alcoholic Cabernet. We were much better off with water. The gift store next to the restaurant is lovely.
