The Dr I am sure in a great Dr have heard nothing but good. The staff running the office is a zero. My mom was there about two months ago with eye problems. She says she is going blind can't even hardly see. When we left they said to wait till we hear from them with the appointment for Barron the surgeon. They also said it may take some time. well here we are almost two months later and no referral and no appointment. So I called to check on this and was told there was no referral ever sent. Then the guy said they didn't do it because that didn't know what time to make appointment ??????? Called at 1:31 pm and the girl would do the referral and make the appointment when she returns from lunch. The attitude was a could care less attitude that was received from the staff. So the disease has progressed two more months and no one can be bothered. Her next regular visit will for sure be elsewhere where they take care of customers and guest as well. Really couldn't be leave the attitude of the employees.
Had an appointment today and I was told that my insurance number provided has no eye coverage that it might be through another provider. I don't understand how this was not verified prior to my appointment. The lady in the front told me they checked right now and I could call my HR and ask. This situation could have been prevented by letting me know there was a problem beforehand, NOT the day of the appointment. As a medical provider myself, I always verify client insurance and let them know PRIOR to their appointment if there are issues with the insurance. Obviously DR your staff are not verifying insurances prior to appointments. That is bad for business, losing money on a simple mistake. How much time could it have taken verify insurance and call the client to let them know. I cancelled my appointment and will no longer come here.
Best eye exam I've ever had. He explained all the procedures, answered all my questions in layman terms. I would recommend him if asked.
