Good for kids
A very enjoyable walk from Haworth, though a little difficult at times in wet weather. Definitely bring your walking boots. But a very good walk for all the family. It does get quite popular and can be very busy. But it's well worth it for the views and history with the Brontë sisters.

Very pretty stepped waterfalls, a little scramble up to the top one but also a lovely walk that loops round. You can choose to loop back after the waterfalls for a shorter walk, or carry on over the hills for a longer walk. I'd recommend parking in a layby up the tops rather than the village as the roads there are quite narrow.
Beautiful country walk across Yorkshire Moorland, culminating at high Whithens now a ruin but said to be the inspiration for Heathcliffe's Moorland farm in Whuthering Heights. The path is reasonably solid most of the way and walkable by relatively able bodied, not suitable for disabled walker's unless strong. Path is muddy and can be steep in places. Great views of South Yorkshire Pennine moorlands. There is local parking off road and on Urban Moor on other side of the main road within 150yds of main Pennine way signs.
Always a great walk . Footpath was totally frozen and very slippy , still excellent .
I loved this little walk. I will will definitely be going back when its I bit nicer weather
