We had a wonderful experience here today. Signed up for a membership since we are planning on hiking a lot more this year. Katie was fantastic! So friendly and knowledgeable in the shoes department. Gave us all the pros and cons and things to think about when purchasing hiking boots.

I love REI. This last visit was great, I didn't need any help but the employees were all still friendly and attentive. They made a point to make it known that they were available to help if needed, but they didn't hover. Anyway, Rei is great. Go there.
REI, can anything really be added to the awesome service and products. If your new to out door adventures? You have to make this REI your stop or any REI. They will set you up on the rigt direction and gear you will need.
Went to see labor day sales, second time visiting this REI. The sales people try to get you to sign up for membership almost immediately, despite my not going to their store often. Saw two items on sale to purchase. Neither one rang up correctly on their computer. I managed to catch one of the items, but not the other, and was overcharged. Considering I came from out of town, I wasn't going back. I'll be avoiding purchasing anything else from REI from now on.
