The property management company runs the HOA in my community. Currently the builder and members of this company hold the seats on our board and have allowed a sober house to operate in our subdivision. They continue to place the blame on the city, however it seems that the HOA, ever powerful in Texas, holds more power than the city of Fort Worth. It seems that the deed restrictions are more powerful than the city restrictions. It has also been told to us many times that this 2 year ordeal would have been over a long time ago if the HOA had acted. Instead, the homeowners have continued to pay our dues, while the HOA has done nothing to resolve the issues in our community. Subsequently, our property value has taken a nose dive. Please think twice about using this company, they are really not good at doing anything other than handing out violations for weeds and dead plants in front yards.
