Yesterday was my birthday and I wanted to have a special weekend. I own a 24/7, 365 operation, and getting one day off is very rare, so I’m hoping upper management and shareholders read this important message. When I called in I spoke with a very friendly and pleasant girl named Katy. She was extremely intellectual and knowledgeable during the quoting process, it was professionally broke down. Each quote for the individual lodges I was interested in were given the base price, cleaning fees, and grand total after tax, followed by asking me if I needed rentals or a ski pass. There was a special request made that my room had an exceptional view of the sunrise because I enjoy a coffee and watching sunrises in the morning. One room became available while on the phone with a good view but Katy wanted to confirm it would be clean and include my request. She told me I would get a call back in two minutes, so she could call a manger to run up to that room and ensure expectations would be met. One minute later I received a call back from Katy and my requests were exceeded. Not only was Katy very clear and punctual but she went the extra mile. It’s super rare to receive over the phone service this exceptional now days. Katy, if you’re ready this, thank you for the fantastic 10 star service! Management or owners, as a business owner I know how hard it is to have someone GOOD, with all of these qualities answer the phones. I also know appreciation goes a long way for staff members! We were credited lessons bought in the 2019-2020 that were not used because of Covid shut down last Spring Break.. and the whole experience from the initial inquiry for the credit to the individual lesson were top notch.. we love Big White!!
This is my favourite ski hill and the interior at British Columbia because it has such a great loud and is always exciting. The kids always love going to the to park skating on the ice rink as it’s something that they don’t ordinarily get to do. The last time we went up we rented a chalet for the weekend and it was definitely worth every penny the kids and family cannot wait to go back again.
Such a fun day! The trails were beautifully groomed and snow fall was perfect. Be aware that during the winter months that lifts will close around 3:30pm/4pm. So go earlier do you get your full day in!
Incredible conditions! Fabulous atmosphere. Big White never fails to deliver a wonderful get-away. 4 days of bliss - and some very sore muscles
