I recently bought a pair of boots at Cadence downtown.... My experience with the staff and owner was first class, over and above my expectations. i was looking for a particular boot, a boot which was also carried by a national box store. At the end of the day i was able to get what i was looking for at a better price and with excellent service from a local business. Highly recommended!

Really enjoyed my experience here. They carry a variety of mens and ladies footwear. Have a great sale on right now and picked up some great all leather shoes for a really great price. They do carry a great selection of blundstone boats. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and worked hard to make our experience enjoyable. If you are in the market for footwear great place to stop in perhaps get a great deal.
SUPPORT LOCAL!! My husband was on the hunt for Blundstones for me and as you may know, they can be hard to get, depending on the style. He went all over Kelowna and I finally told him to go to the local shop Cadence and he did. When I opened them, they were the wrong style and when I called, they didn't have the ones I wanted in-stock. Their policy does state o refunds\ and exchange only. Blundstone's is on backorder across Canada so the lady added me to the list. Unfortunately, my hubby lost the receipt, but they still honored an in-store credit so I didn't have to keep the ones I had. After a week or two, I called back and was informed they were on backorder until March - YIKES!!! I proceeded to call some stores in smaller cities and found a store in Armstrong that had some. I called Cadence and explained the situation. The lady, who also honored the credit (without a receipt) was the same one I was speaking to, couldn't make the call to refund as their policy clear says no; however, she went above and beyond and called the owner and shared my side. Know, I don't like taking business away from our local economy, but I also don't want to wait two more months for shoes. The owner was nice enough to make an exception, given how long I would have to wait and knowing I could be a satisfied local and get what I wanted from another small business owner. The point of my review is not to encourage people to try and get business owners to go against their policies, it's to show that even in tough times, Cadence still put the happiness of their customer first. For that reason, I will continue to refer business to them. Thank you Cadence for being so amazing!

All the staff are so knowledge and so pleasant and professional. I went into the store to buy an expensive shoe but I was helped to buy a shoe that was a better fit and more functional than the shoe I had my sights on. So better shoe and as well, a better price as it was on sale. The focus was completely on my needs. I highly recommend this awesome boutique store.
