Outstanding surgeon, did a great job on a complex reconstruction of my jaw with part of my fibula. Bedside manner is just fine.

If I could give a zero star rating I would. I had a horrible experience with Dr S . Williamson. Before I continue I want to note that his staff and clinic were excellent. However, Dr. Williamson's bedside manner was awful. He belittled and pressured me into doing a procedure that was inappropriate for my body and lifestyle. I reluctantly continued with the procedure and ended up with a lopsided and painful result. Unfortunately it has taken me 10 years to save the money and find a reputable and amazing surgeon to correct the mistake.

My son crushed the tip of his thumb at work causing him to lose the tip and nail. We were sent to Dr Williamson. His bed side Manor was the worst we have ever had. He looked at the X-ray, tested his thumb in 2 places, and tested for mobility, then was going to send him home with just a referral to a hand therapist. He wasn't even going to re-bandage the thumb, until I demanded it. He would not listen to what I was telling him the ER doctor said or answer any of our questions. We will not be going back to him again.

I had surgery on my hand last March. Dr Williamson and his staff looked after me in a very professional manner. I didn't think my hand would ever be normal again with the operation and after surgery. With the help from Julie in Physio after the recovery went very good. My hand is back to normal and I can say it was well worth the experience. I haven't had the chance to thank Dr. Williamson yet but I will.
