Here on vacation, I needed a brow wax and tint and was very happy when I called on a whim and was offered threading as an option. The woman who provided my service was excellent. I walked out with amazing looking brows! I wish I could take her home with me! The spa is welcoming and very clean. The service was excellent.

I’m currently pregnant, and all of my new growth is very curly (spiral curls) while the rest of my hair is wavy, so I wanted advice on whether perming my wavy hair could match my new growth. I went in for a consultation and even sent photos of my hair. The person at the front desk was very warm and welcoming and the stylist was sweet. BUT, I did not receive a consultation. I asked the stylist multiple times what could be done and what I should do and all she said was ‘we can try it’. That’s not why I came. I came to have an experienced stylist educate me about my hair. She also misunderstood that my new growth was the hair affected by pregnancy, and kept saying the perm would look ‘80s’. Well.... once my natural hair grows out, I guess it will look ‘80s’. I said I felt as though she was not confident in her advice and apologized for leaving. I’m sure they do wonderful cuts and drys, but if you have a larger hair problem, it might be good to call around to get professional advice.
Came to Excel in August, asked to get my hair evened out because i had one side that was shorter than the other, and then continued to get extensions so i could have the length and more thickness as my hair is very thin. Got my hair cut and didn't get to see it. After taking out the extensions i have realized that my hair was even more uneven, layered which i didn't not ask for, way shorter than i had asked for and just complete awful, i spent so much money on something that was supposed to be great to see that i have such thin hair, that is super short and not at all what i wanted especially since i had on purposely got these extensions for thickness
My parents were visiting from out of town, and my mother and I decided to get our nails done as a rare treat. Not knowing where to go, we just started walking down Pandosy and decided to try getting a side by side appointment at Excel. Although my mother and I were not able to get our nails done side by side, we were able to be taken in immediately for two appointments done in succession with Traci. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff was very accommodating. An extra chair was provided at the nail table so my mother and I could visit during both of our appointments, with tea and coffee served while we waited. Our Nail Technician Traci was warm, friendly and professional and did a great job. She did her best to answer questions I had, and provided some good preventative suggestions. My mother and I are both very happy with our nails and will certainly be returning sometime soon. Thank you Traci
Just moved to Kelowna, and I have already had two amazing experiences at this salon. Recently, I did the silkworm hair smoothing treatment. The staff have a special way of doing this treatment, which involves leaving it in for a few days (instead of washing it out right away as the manufacturer instructs). It worked amazing. My hair is smooth, shiny and easy to manage. I am getting tons of compliments. 10/10 would do this treatment again, and at this salon.
Excel I believe will becoming "Kraze Salon & Spa" is being run by it's new owner since December. The salon itself is beautiful & spacious & the staff are friendly & great you with a big smile. I love it.
My wife went to get eyebrow threading, upper lip waxing, and the excel facial yesterday. Cathy was the person that helped her. She said it was the best facial she has ever had. She said facials are usually painful and leave her skin looking a bit irritated, but Cathy's facial was not painful at all and her skin looked clearer and more hydrated than ever. She was also hesitant to pay 25 for eyebrow threading since she is used to paying 5, but she said this place was worth every penny. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff.
My mother and I went in for the first time today and I can't get over what a great experience we had! Wonderful manicure/pedicure! Jenna was hilarious and accommodating! Anna did an EXCELLENT job on my hair I've never had anyone nail my colour exactly as I described before! The owner Judy was an absolute gem and riot! Ania did an incredible job on my mothers extensions and colour match! Thank you so much again ladies I cannot wait to come back!
