Went into the store last evening after dropping my kids off at laser tag. Clerk was very rude. Asked me to put my average size MK purse behind the counter (even though another lady was in the store walking around with her purse). I said no, as it's a purse not a backpack. When I went to the counter, the clerk was just nasty in demeanour, and when I explained to her that I was not being rude, but if I had a large bag, multiple bags or a backpack I could understand her request, but a purse does not fit that. She said "if you want to make the rules, buy your own liquor store." Well I've managed liquor stores when I was her age, I know the rules. Is it because I was the only coloured person in the store? Because I can tell you, this would not be the first time I've been racial profiled in this town and I was absolutely disgusted in her attitude and behaviour. When I called this morning to make a complaint to the manager, I felt like it fell on deaf ears. I will not shop here again.

We have been very faithful customers and have had great service up until about a month ago. I've had comments from the same female associate "hinting" to tip, out of stock and won't move on price to match 2, 12's to get close to the price of a 24, yawning at the till like crazy... I have tipped when the associate was on the way from the back and grabbed me the "usual" along his way to the front, knowing that I often walk to the store and doesn't give me the feeling of judgement that I have felt lately. I do have a vendor that is less expensive that I have gone to, but have been faithful to Jammer's up until now for the convenience and great Service.
Jammers excellent service. Very friendly. Polite and not pushy. 2nd time in the business. Lived here for 32 years. I will go back. The man with the vivid green golf shirt.
HAS GONE DOWNHILL SUBSTANTIALLY FOR WHAT WAS ONCE JUST A SMILING FRIENDLY PLACE TO GO GET BEER...where did the friendly nice gal go? Today, June 20th, 2018, around 12 pm the gal clerk could not smile or engage or just seem to enjoy being there. Was like doing her a personal favour to be there to help pay her wage, yikes. I am not that mean so 2 stars out of 5. But like the Soup Nazi says...no tip for you! Tips must be DESERVED! Smiles should be part of the job training in place!
