Andy was a great coach, as he is friendly, patient and very knowledgeable. It is obvious that he has spent many years learning and studying the techniques that he teaches. Receiving instructional sessions from Pure Self Defense has allowed me a greater feeling of independence, confidence and safety.

Passionate...professional...knowledgeable...skilled. This describes Andy as he taught a 2.5 hour session with 8 teen girls learning through the Miss Kelowna Lady of the Lake program. In a very short time, he taught the girls the importance of setting personal boundaries and being discerning when making decisions. Obviously, more time with Andy would be necessary to perfect skills, but the girls finished the session feeling empowered with some basic skills to defend themselves should they be caught in vulnerable circumstances. Thank-you Andy at Pure Self Defense!
