Not a fan of the teaching methodology or the lack of. My kid experience was less than desirable. Learning to swim should be an enjoyable experience that forms healthy habits for life not something you never want to do again.
The WETS program is awesome. My children have been swimming with Donna for almost 3 years now and they are confident, safe and very skilled in the water, and they're only 5 and 7. Thank you to Donna and her amazing instructors for making learning to swim fun and for pushing my children to have as much success as they do. I also especially appreciate the small class sizes and the options to have private and semi-private lessons. I highly recommend WETS.
My daughter Sarah started swimming with Donna and the WETS team when she was three years old. From the minute she got in the water until she completed all her levels including Bronze Star she not only enjoyed the lessons and looked forward to them but her self confidence increased. The lessons she received were fun and because of the smaller class sizes allowed for one-on-one instruction. All the instructors over the years with WETS have been great with kids of all ages. Sarah went on to join a local swim club and thanks to the foundation provided by WETS she became a strong team swimmer. It is reassuring as a parent to know that she has confidence in and around the water thanks to the dedication provided by Donna and the WETS team. Wendy McIntyre
Both my kids progressed through their swim levels fast, compared to other swim programs they use to attend. Smaller class sizes allows for more swimming time and teaching. All the swim coaches and owner Donna are amazing, professional and competent. Generally there is no public swimming when lessons are in progress which helps the kids focus on their lesson. I would highly recommend.
