I have just been to the KFC at O.R Tambo International and as a regular KFC customer, I am appalled by the staff, LACK OF CLEANLINESS and standard of the food at this particular establishment. Firstly, the staff were disinterested, I waited 20 min for one zinger burger (the store was not even busy) and when I did eventually get my meal - it was incorrect and my chicken fillet half frozen!!! If I was not about to board a flight I would have appreciated seeing the manager - but as a previous customer informed me, he had been waiting for the manager but she was disinterested in his customer complaint and it was best for me to contact regional/ head office. Needless to say, I am horrified by this level of service and delivery from the KFC brand. I also suggest they do a serious review of their airport outlet! Not happy or impressed!

In the later evening of Tuesday the 29th of March, I was accompanying my man to the airport and as he was always curious about our KFC here in SA I decided he should try it on his last day before he leaves, so it was that we found ourselves approaching the KFC at OR Tambo. The cashier that took our order didn't even try to hide her bad attitude and looked th both of us up and down like she wanted to evaluate what kind of service we deserved. Be that as it may, she also forgot to put a spoon for the mashed potatoes inside our bag, she forgot the napkins and the salt, which forced us to go back to the register three times and on top of that she even greeted my man with a very inappropriate 'again ?' when I asked him to fetch the salt after I had already gone back there twice. So the service left a lot to be desired, which is surprising for KFC but what was even more suprising was the quality of the product, 'streetwise two', which was very dry chicken meat , mildly warm and looking not very tasty. We asked another employee who happened to clean close to our table if this was how it's supposed to be, she was being honest and forthcoming, yet she also told us we would not get a new meal because we had already started to eat. This was unheard of and we did then ask for the manager, named SABELO, who declined to recompensate us in any way , other than replacing one piece of chicken. There was no apology, or even a hint of professionalism , let alone a hint of good customer service. On our way out he even made a remark to one of his employees as if we were the problem and not him and how sloppy he runs his ship. A very disappointing experience, avoid!
