It all begins with Katie, the receptionist with exceptional people/telephone skills. Then there is Jess, the owner, who comes to give the estimate. He is detailed, knowledgeable, professional and is fair in his pricing. When all is finalized the crew shows up as scheduled and is on time. I can't say enough about this company. Greg, the supervisor, was very hands on and was very accommodating to me in how I wanted my trees to be trimmed, lifted up or removed. He, too, was very knowledgeable and was quick to answer my concerns and questions. It was a stress free 4 hours. In the end, my yard looks fabulous and my trees are beautiful. The crew was so efficient that after they left, it was if they had never been here. Highly recommend this company! Michele C.

My experience with KENCO was excellent. Katie in the front office was conscientious and friendly. Jess, the owner, was responsive and professional. The job of cutting down two large pine trees, grinding the stumps, and cleaning up was performed to my satisfaction in a timely fashion. First class operation!

I contacted KENCO after seeing their ad in the Daily Courier in the services offered section. They are insured and have been in the area many years. I needed a tall (40ft or so) locust taken down due to it overhanging in my neighbor's yard. We set up a date and Jess came out to give me a free estimate. I had worked for twenty years in the groundskeeping business and have dropped my share of trees but I'm getting up there and felt this was beyond me. The main problem with the removal was it had to be done from my neighbor's property. We talked with him and Jess assured him everything would be done to protect his landscape. After gaining my neighbor's permission to do the work from his yard, Jess gave me a reasonable quote and we agreed on the date some three weeks away due to their work load schedule. The day before they came, the office called to confirm if we were still on. I am a school teacher and when I had first contacted KENCO I was still on summer break but now I was back at school. I met the guys early the next morning and along with Jess went and talked with my neighbor , the guys understood leaving his yard spotless was paramount. I went to work fully confident that the job would be done right. I was not disappointed. There wasn't a twig left in my neighbors yard; they had brought their chipper out and ground up the limbs right there. My neighbor was happy and I was happy. We ha 11 large trees (15 feet) removed. They arrived when they said they would. They did the job in exactly the time they said they would. And they cleaned up after themselves. No complaints at all.
