Loved it. Beautiful location on the Mary River. Lush grass, plenty of shaded spots, porta-loos and a shower block. The Homestead crew were friendly and welcoming. And of course sitting in the cool of the river on a hot day was great. I’ll be back. ️

I liked each site wide enough to be with nature. But at night, I couldn't sleep because of some uncontrollable sites until late at night.

Nice place to camp. Lots of sites, two nice water holes. Can get busy with a few bogans. Overall not a bad spot..

Beautiful campground with some nice scenery. The scenery is not what is on the website and caravans appear to have been related for photos but none the less, nice location.

This place offers exceptional value for money. Beautiful camp grounds, numerous amenities (which have always been very clean) and nice access to the Mary River to swim, float or kayak up and down. The staff are friendly and only to happy to help. Anyone who says anything negative about this beautiful spot, are the type of people that'll find negatives with everything in life!!! This is my 2nd stay and it will not be my last

Kenilworth Homestead has a very beautiful landscape. However I'm only giving 3 stars due to the severity of dust with cars constantly driving around the camp site which can make it a little frustrating. We had to camp right next to the road due to the limited choices and the place was only booked at half capacity. I would recommend Kenilworth Homestead for families of older children (we have 2 under 5) as they had some excellent activities set up. The river is beautiful but slippery when walking on the rocks into the water. I would definitely recommend bringing along floating devices to relax in the cool water on a hot day. I will give a heads up in regards to the animals. Another mum informed me on our first night that her child was bitten by the donkey, then on our 3 day our eldest was bitten by a pony. I'm sure they were just sick of being petted so just a heads up. Overall Kenilworth is very aesthetically pleasing.

Our favorite campsite to visit! Very well maintained (well don Dae!) with good amenities. It has a lake for kayaking and swimming. There's an enclosure where Family and kids can feed a variety of animals. Pets friendly, too. Also, very close proximity to the town. Doughnut from Kenilworth bakery is a must!

Great camping spot has showers and toilets. Only a short ride up the road to some of the best enduro riding QLD has to offer.
