Our Family had a 15' box truck rented for this past Sunday and were not able to pick up the truck because their system was down. This location had unprofessional staff that were cursing and impolite. I contacted Uhaul on the matter and the GM, Nick DeMario, who contacted me and insinuated that we were lying and nothing of what we said was accurate. I explained to him what happened during our experience at the Kenmore location and he was quick to tell me that I was wrong, his staff always wear masks which they were not, and 'what was the context of the cursing'... What does it matter the context of cursing, your staff were out of line as were you in your approach to a Customer. I let him know we will never rent from Uhaul again and his response was 'doesn't matter to me'. Absolutely shocked at the lack of courtesy and professionalism. 0/5 stars.

They damaged a plastic surface on my rear bumper while installing the hitch. I was dealing with U-Haul insurance for a month, and they find no negligence on UH or the equipment :) Now I have to replace the whole bumper which will cost about 1000. If you wanna have an additional headache with your car, go to this place.

I rented a little motorcycle trailer and have to say the employee was extremely helpful...hooked me up and even troubleshooted my fuses when one blinker didn’t work. (I had a bad adapter). He got me in and out in a hurry. 16 transaction! I rented a truck last month and had a similar good experience with the diligent help. Online after hours check in is actually easy if you follow the prompts, but I can see it would be irritating after a move if you don’t anticipate it and forget pics of the clean inside of the box or cab, etc.

After-hours check-out is a total chaos!! Incompetent and worst online customer service!! I reserved a van online for pick up at Woodinville uhaul. It clearly said as confirmed pick up location. A few hours before pick up, I received a msg that the pickup location has been changed to Kenmore which is five miles away, without any reasoning or apology. This is for after-hours pick up. When we went there, there were three other vans parked around our van such that it is extremely difficult to take it out. Anyway, we proceeded with online check out. As they asked, we took clear photos of the driver with van, front/back of his license. They asked for three contact phone numbers which they would call at that time (11pm). I gave them my spouse's number and two friends' numbers. All of them were awake and had phone in their hand. None of them received a call. The online representative(Michelle) took 32 minutes for this, while taking 4 minutes to respond after each simple msg, and finally said that the rental check out is not possible right now. U-Haul, your "Rent w/ your phone" concept is a joke and your customer service representatives are incompetent. Thanks for wasting 1.5 hours and making me come back again in the morning.

I called to ask the price of propane. I had to listen to two minutes of irrelevant information while their automated outgoing message blabbed on and on providing much irrelevant information (essentially advertising) only to then hear an announcement the hold time would be up to 10 minutes. What a waste of my time! This company has no respect for their customer's time. If they have any interest in customer service they have no idea how to provide it. Here's a clue: answer your damn phone!

I've had strange experiences here in the past, so the other reviews are valid. But today I stopped in to refill propane and the service was great and prompt.

I wish I could rate this lower than a single star. The employees here failed their inspection of the vehicle and rented me one with a crack in a pipe under the vehicle, thus making it impossible to fill it up with gas. I am currently stranded in nowhere Oregon where the nearest roadside assistance team is 40 or 80 miles away. When I asked about taping the crack myself I was told that I would be held liable for any further damage. Do not trust these people with your goods or your time. Or else you’ll end up like me, 16 hours behind schedule stuck in some one off hotel waiting on the good graces of technicians who won’t pick up their phone.
