They are wonderful! The food is super good, customer service is super dope and the atmosphere is super clean. I love this restuarant!!!
One of my favorite Haitian restaurants to go to get my grub on. Diri djon djon (black mushroom rice) is very good here and I love their chicken in sauce shown below. They cook with lot of flavor and good customer service. I been coming here for couple years now. The Patè Kode is bomb .
My initial review (see below): For a Jamaican food spot I wasn't impressed at all. Save your money and find another one. Food was mediocre, nothing to brag about and definitely nothing screams AUTHENTIC here. Really disappointed. I ordered the oxtail and got a few small bones. Not worth the money they charge. My first visit was my last. Update- My Response to Jo Jo Fritay: The management team responded and advised me that they were an authentic Haitian restaurant and not JamaicanTo the team at Jo Jo Fritay, I apologize for misrepresenting you as a Jamaican establishment. Unfortunately for Jo Jo Fritay, my review is still the same. The good thing here for viewers to understand, is that my opinion is just that. It's only my opinion based on the experience I had there. As a born and raised Miami native, I've had the pleasure to experience a wide variety of cuisines (including Haitian). Miami being a melting pot for Cuban, Jamaican, Haitian, Middle East, Honduran and many others, gave me the opportunity to experience such. I'm not knocking your business, just giving my honest opinion. Your establishment is obviously successful or you wouldn't be in business. It just wasn't to my liking. To all of your potential customers, it may be one of the best Haitian spots they been to. Although I won't be returning, I will encourage them to go for themselves and leave their own opinion. To Jo Jo Fritay, I wish you much success in the coming year.
I ordered fried goat and the restaurant gave me fried pork which could have been an honest mistake right.? But when I bought it to their attention, they would not replace my food. I gave it to my partner who eats pork and his review was that the food was not all of that. This was my first time trying this food and I will never go back!
Friendly family restaurant Serving Haitian cuisine. Foods is good. order there at least twice a week. Come on by and have some soup on Sundays. ( yummy yummy something good for your tummy) .
First time trying out this incredible Haitian restaurant today. I was wildly impressed. The service was great, food was top notch. As a first generation American, this food brought me back to all the foods I ate as a kid at family gatherings. I'll definitely be back.
