Love love love this place! I've been going here for the past 16 years and I've always had a great experience. Hiking, biking, climbing, you name it! Lots of great food as well.

Phenomenal experience! Absolutely beautiful and memorable. Will come back and highly recommend to others. I only suggest they add 15-minute sessions in a massage chair to help guests recover from a long day of physical activity.
I came here for Camp John Waters. It was amazing! The tent camping sites were great, with trailers of air conditioned toilets and showers. The food was delicious and plentiful There were tons of classic camp activities, like archery and canoeing, arts and crafts and climbing. The full liquor bars kept us all in high spirits. And just like youth camps, we all came home with tons of new friends. It was a great way to spend the weekend. I can't wait to return next year.
My boyfriend and I went to Camp Getaway for an overnight trip for his birthday. All staff were wearing masks and seemed to take proper precautions of operating this camp during the pandemic. From the moment we arrived everyone was very welcoming. Communication amongst staff was extremely efficient and they made sure that we didn’t encounter any inconveniences during our stay. The camp grounds were breathtaking, the atmosphere was magical, and the featured amenities were easily accessible. I do suggest wearing comfortable shoes around because there’s a lot of exploring to do on the grounds, and if that doesn’t wear you out, the daily agendas assure you that there won’t be a dull moment while you’re there. Most definitely planning another stay at this fun-filled camp!!
Staff was absolutely incredible; welcoming, helpful, and cool as the other side of a pillow. Facilities were clean and comfortable. Great place...hope to see more shows here in the future!
Our stay was brief but loaded with lots of fun and activities for our young students. The experiences definitely warrants a second visit. Whether it was my student's first camping adventure or third, each student found it to be equally engaging. The staff was awesome! The members made sure that that the children were thoroughly engaged in fun team building activities. Nature really showcased its beauty at Club Getaway as it's surrounded by the ever colorful fall foliage. Have your phone camera ready for some good pics.
Definitely a great family camp, had a good time. Awesome staff .. I'd love to check out the "adult camp" as well !
this place is reallly pretty, the british crews are nice and everything. the only problem is the cabins which are really dirty. so if you’re gonna stay there for the night i would suggest bring your own pillows and blankets because they’re really uncomfortable. other than that everything is pretty and you’ll love it there
