The variety of plants in the lobby are nice, but the overall look of this place is dreary and can easily be overlooked. The staff seem friendly enough, they definitely don't pry or seek conversation much though. Guests there appear to be regulars, loud and staring out windows. The bed frames don't fit the mattress, the rooms are freezing and the heat doesn't go very high. The water takes forever to warm up, if at all, and all that's offered is 2 small, cheap bars of soap and 2 plastic cups. For less than 100/ night, it's not terrible, considering the area it's in.

No coffee pot. No ice available. Large couch in front of kitchen burners. Nothing to set anything on in bathroom no shelf. Tub was dirty. Nothing to cook on or with. No outdoor seating.

I was in Kent to visit my sister that I had not seen in over 50 years. The management at Golden Kent Motel would not let my sister or her son to visit me.

No one was at the front counter for to even get to check in left came back 1\\2 hour later still no one... About 10 minutes later someone finally came to the desk. Super grumpy and couldn't give me any info about renting a room. Went elsewhere

Was more than we wanted to spend for one night but we were tired n cold. We loved our stay, was like lil cottages. Shower was wonderful n so much room.

It's been remodeled......that's the best I can say. Grumpy non English speaking desk help informed me he would would kick me out and keep my deposit for a myriad of reasons.....then told me to enloy my stay!!!

Their really nice remolded. It's for good price too.
