Not for drywall. Big mistake. J & G just called the drywall job “complete” that isn’t even close to the Level 4 finish we were sold. We knew from the first day of hanging that these were amateurs. All throughout the process, J & G reassured me that all visible walls would still come out perfect and we nervously believed him. We were left with bulges, visible tape lines, a bowed wall with a screw that pops out when you push on the wall, rough areas in need of sanding everywhere, cracking. Absolutely no attention to detail. I know he had problems with some subs that he brought in. I’m not saying that the owner didn’t try to salvage the job or wasn’t trying to do a good job. He is an honest guy who worked hard for days to get it back. Unfortunately, the “finished” state is just not acceptable. Now we are paying for professional drywallers to come out and fix it. Some walls we might start over entirely. Cannot recommend. We took out a section of wall that was too uneven to install the cabinets against and found they had punctured the wastewater pipe twice with drywall screws.

Just terrible. Second rate work. This guy takes advantage of you, demands more money for a job halfway through. My fault for paying for the work before it was done. Job was so bad I had to bring in someone else to fix the horrendous work. When I asked J & G Painting to take responsibility and compensate me for the extra expense to make up for their lack of ability, they scoffed at me. Avoid this company.
