So I am not a member here, unfortunately I live a bit far for that to be practical. I just spent the day taking the NRA Pistol Safety course which I need to get my license in Westchester county. The facility was clean and well kept. They went above and beyond what is required of the course to teach additional safety tips and used CO2 pellet guns to give us some aspect of familiarity. One of the instructors, John, even went home to grab an instructional DVD for me during one of the breaks after a conversation we had. After the course, Darwin gave me the additional courtesy of allowing me to use the range with my 10/22 so I could test some equipment I had just purchased for it. Each person from the club was very pleasant with the various questions each of us was throwing at them. In a situation where I would move closer to Kent, I would definitely join this club.
