Hands down, still the best hardware store around... regardless of the location you visit. Not only do they employ extremely smart and knowledgeable people (instead of just extra bodies to stock shelves like the other big box stores)... but every employee i have talked to has been extremely friendly and helpful.

This store is by far one of the better stores for specialty things. With that being said I took one star away because a cashier told me she couldn't help me because she was helping another customer that wasn't there. He apparently ran off somewhere to grab a different item.

What a wonderful experience. I have no idea what I am doing concerning any home repair projects. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Extra shout out to Rachel in the lumber section for being extra patient today!

McLendon Hardware rarely disappoints. Their personnel actually know the product and craft, unlike some orange competitors, and they have what you need...unless you are looking for a generator you knew you should have purchased before the regional power outage...and you waited all day before looking. Great service, great store.

I generally don't respond to this Google request, however, I was very decieved at mclendons today. attached are some photos which advertise 25%off it is some marketing scam, because when I brought the items to the register ,I didn't get 25% off...
