North Water Brewing is a much needed brewery on the north end of downtown! The place used to be a body shop and the complete renovation and overhaul they did is nothing short of spectacular. The brewery has a good atmosphere and great spaced out seating. The beer here is excellent! I tried the flight and every beer I had was delicious. Their brewmaster knows what he is doing ... I am looking forward to what he comes up with next. The patio area will be great in the summer.
We walked into this place and it was pretty empty, there were two people at one end of the bar and one woman sitting at the other end. The bar tender was talking to the woman and totally ignored us for the entire ten minutes we stood there waiting to see if we were going to be seated or told to just seta ourselves. he looked right at me a few times but never said a word. there were only two tables with people at them so the place was very empty. After being ignored for a while I just turned around and left. This place is a piss hole and I will give it two thumbs down to everyone I talk to about it. They obviously have no idea how to run a business.
Went for the public opening. Nice interior. Got more packed as the day got later. Had a house blonde, red ale and hazy on tap. Offer crowler and growlers. Nice new local brewery. Will be back.
As a Kent State alumni, when I heard Kent was getting a brewery, I couldn't wait for their doors to open! A few weeks after opening day, my wife, 2 year old son and I came in to the brewery! I was blown away by the atmosphere, the staff, the cleanliness AND most importantly, the beer. Amazing beer! I've been to brewery's all across the country and their beer stacks up with the rest of them. Their staples are solid and they also offer unique variations and flavors. Was impressed by their accommodations for families. Their restrooms were extremely fresh and clean complete with a family restroom with a baby changing table. We will be back again, and again, and again!!
Great beer, cool atmosphere. We will be back, and we will recommend. Two things to improve though: Be friendlier and quicker with service, and also I recommend adding more snacks to the menu for people that get the munchies when they drink.
The beers here we're delicious and the staff was super knowledgeable and polite. Excellent place to have a beer. I will definitely be going back.
One of the great new breweries around. Spacious, welcoming and great selections. Very friendly staff. Just a great relaxing atmosphere...
