I would not recommend this place. If you apply for this apartment they will ask for a deposit of 300 plus a 50 credit check. Now, that’s a common expectation, right? Yes it is required in most apartments that you apply for. What they do not tell you is that they expect you to pay that on a debit/credit card, but they will not be providing a refund back to your debit/credit card. Instead, they will be mailing a check out to you. It has now been 3 weeks since I was not approved and I have been getting the run around about my deposit being returned to me. I have called everyday starting last Thursday. Still no refund. How many other people have you done this to? I mean, if no one says anything do they just pocket the 300 deposit?!? Not, a place I want to rent from.

I lived here for 2 years by myself 2015-2016, management was nice and maintenance always came to fix things quickly. Neighbors were awesome too. Loved having the pool/ hot tub, it was always clean & private. Also security was around more often when I mentioned I had any concerns for safety doing two laps per night.

Too much smoking. Don't see why they couldn't just change it to a non-smoking complex. Would make the atmosphere much nicer and more sellable to better renters. Why ruin the health and happiness of homes of those who rent here that don't smoke? Is it 1970 in Kent still?

I have lived here for many years. The park like setting is beautiful, the grounds are well kept. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Maintenance is fast to respond. Prime location near grocery store and Kent station.

These apartments would be absolutely lovely if they didn't allow smoking. The grounds are quiet, beautiful, lots of trees, a nice creek running through each side of the buildings. Kids running around, lots of different types of people here. Some very nice people. Yet when we lived here we would CONSTANTLY be bombarded with the smoking. Our living room and bedrooms smelled like bars. When we went out our clothes smelled like smoke. It was terrible. Why would essex ruin a great place like this?

Soooo the office hours clearly state the the office closes at 6pm and we race home from work every day before then to make it there to try to get our time sensitive packages. The first day i was a little late at like 5:40 and they had left early so I blamed myself and came earlier the next day before 5:30 so at least someone would be there but no. That's two days in a row that they have left the office early. Either change the office hours or have someone there for the hours posted.

I've lived in Wandering Creek for well over a year now and I have to say that my time here has been a pleasure. Sure, apartment neighbors are a mixed bag (I'm not going to base my rating on that, although mine have been pretty good overall) but the management and maintenance staff have always been friendly and courteous (and quick to take care of any issues I've had). The grounds that the apartments are set on are beautiful - they've been landscaped wonderfully so flowers are blooming throughout the spring and the leaves of the trees turn gorgeous colors in the fall. And there are lots of trees! Walking my dog every day is always a pleasure along the sidewalks that wind throughout the property. And I feel safe walking and living here. I got a great deal for my apartment too! Honestly I can't think of any complaints and plan on living here through the next few years :-)
