Ferdowsi Square is the name of a square in the southwest of Kermanshah city. The small area around the square is also called Ferdowsi neighborhood. Ferdowsi Square and neighborhood are located in the municipality of District 4 of Kermanshah. A statue of Abolghasem Ferdowsi has been installed in this square after the 1979 Revolution. This sculpture was designed and made by Nasser Khavarzadeh.
