My first visit with Kernersville Vet is not a visit any pet owner wants. Unfortunately we lost our sweet boy Max on Monday. Max was very sick and exhibiting signs of end of life. I had a small hope that maybe they could fix him. The tech came out to my car to get Max and from the moment she came out I could tell the care and compassion in her heart. The vet came out to my car to discuss options with me, and together we decided it was time to let him go. Since this was an end of life situation, they allowed me inside with him. Although this was one of my worst days, losing our sweet baby, both of these ladies were absolutely the best. They both cried with me, they loved on my boy, and I could really see the genuine care they had not only for me, but for Max as well. I am truly thankful for Kernersville Vet and the way they made me feel. I will definitely be back with my other 2 pups, hopefully in very different circumstances. Thank you for treating me and Max like we have always been family there!

I’ve been going to Kernersville Veterinary Hospital for more than a decade and my pets are always treated with the best care. I know my pets health is their first priority. Wait times for walk in appointments are longer now but with covid I guess that’s to be expected. Small trade off for good pet care.

We are new to the area. Our cat was showing signs of a UTI. The staff was very friendly with my first call and quickly allowed me to bring our cat to the office. With Covid you will wait outside for your pet and the doctor will call you once they are with your pet. The doctor was very kind and responsive to my questions and took care of our cat quickly. Today he is feeling much better and we are a happy. Thank you.

They were great this past Saturday given the changes needed to keep everyone safe. They let me know about the wait and gave refreshments in the meanwhile. Staff was very kind and considerate. It was a great experience.

I have taken my pets to Kernersville Veterinary Hospital before but this was our first visit with Dr. Jared Steck and he was fantastic! It was pouring rain and he and the assistant both came out three separate times (standing in the rain) to ensure we had all the appropriate information, prescriptions etc. I certainly appreciate the exceptional care and extra effort the entire staff provided considering challenges with COVID-19 and the weather.
