The miniature railway is the oldest one in Scotland. It was open on 1935. I had many good memories going on it with my sister and parents even my wife. Opening times depends on weather and time of year. The owners used to have 2 miniature bus and fire engines. The trains final weekend was the 10/10/20 and the 11/10/20 after 85 years in service.

I've been visiting Kerr's MIniature Railway since I was a child. I've not been able to get as regular over the past few years as the weather has meant it wasn't on when we were visiting. We found out that it will be closing at the end of this season and wanted to go on it one last time. The train is great for both children and adults alike. When they are busy they also have a Fire Engine and a Bus - I love them all equally. If you have never been or if you have and it's been a while, then, now is the time to go before it goes for good. Perhaps if enough people visit over the next couple of weeks they may reconsider closing which I hope they do as it'll be sorely missed in Arbroath.
Brilliant and busy pitty its the last day ever open
I've given it 5 stars from my memory at a 3 year old, travelled up to Arbroath yesterday but it had closed at 4, missed it by 5 minutes. I hope to return before it closes for good.
Set to close shortly due to falling passenger numbers, but it's a really enjoyable 10 minute ride from a family operation that has lasted 90 years so far. Diesel and working miniature steam both feature here.
Great shame that it closes for good tomorrow
Today had the added bonus of a real live steam train on the east coast line, journey through the tunnels on Kerr's miniature railway 2 well spent
Wish it was bigger but what an amazing thing. Such a shame it's going to be lost after next weekend.
