I was searching for HOURS looking for someone to help pick up a large piece of furniture I had purchased from someone on Nextdoor, but the quotes I got were more than the price I paid for the item! I did NOT want to go on Craigslist and get some random person with a truck that was not licensed and insured. While searching on Yelp, I stumbled on Kevin's Delivery Service. I remembered them because I had purchased furniture from a furniture store, and they were the company that did the delivery. I didn't know if they would take private customers, but called just in case. Kevin picked up the phone personally, and with less than 24 hours, took the job (on a Sunday, no less) at a totally reasonable price. He and his colleague arrived in the given timeframe, meticulously wrapped the piece, carefully loaded it and brought it into our home without a scratch. I was really impressed with their knowledge--for example, he knew that for a guard gated community, you couldn't always bring in a "vendor" truck, so we made sure to get special permission. To top it all off, Kevin and his colleague were genuinely nice guys, easy to talk to, very friendly and funny. I had a really great experience and highly recommend them.
