The Therapeutic Center of Chania is a 60 bed private general clinic located in the center of the city, close to old town. It is the oldest private medical care unit in Chania area, established in 1932 as a 20 bed eye surgical and medical clinic. Since then, three upgrades and renovations have taken place. In 1980 it was expanded to 40 beds while adding both OB-GYN and Orthopedic departments, in 1992 to 60 beds and was upgraded to General Clinic with the name Therapeutic Center of Chania- Kapakis Clinic, with all the basic departments of Internal Medicine and General Surgery. The most recent and thorough renovations of the facilities took place this year, in 2018, including public areas rooms, bathrooms. New services such as satellite TV and WI-FI were also added.
