Perfect experience from beginning to end. I used my Costco membership for the purchase of custom plantation window shutters for two rooms in our home. I was fortunate that Costco selected such a great partner in Home Remedies as their installer. Christian did a great job with the initial consult and ordering. There was no pressure and the product description, price, terms, etc were all documented in writing before the order was placed. Frasier (installer) and Glenn (owner) put them up with great care. They were all so friendly and respectful when working in our home. I simply could not be happier with the end result. I highly recommend Home Remedies to anyone needing window treatments on Maui.

AVOID THIS BUSINESS! On Tuesday January 21st, Christian Adams of Home Remedies Interior Design came to my residence to provide a quote for window coverings as part of a Costco promotion. After measuring the windows in my home for window coverings, Mr. Adams said that I had no choice but to accept his verbal estimate and stated that I would not be allowed to review a written quote - or even check that the items on the product order were correct. Mr. Adams said that he had personally decided not to provide written quotes to any Costco customer for review, and that unless I accepted his verbal quote on the spot without any documentation that I would not be allowed to participate in the Costco promotion. I am filing formal complaints against Mr. Adams and Home Remedies with Costco, Graber, and the Hawaii Department of Consumer Affairs.
