A most impressive historic building, with a stunning galleried central hallway, featuring a beautiful stained glass window. Set in pleasant grounds, with a good amount of parking in the former front lawns. It makes for a great Masonic Centre, and also a perfect venue for weddings, parties etc. Catering was good and main rooms are air conditioned which was a delight on one of the hottest days of the year when I visited.

Good service the asparagus risotto was very poor. More like a rice pudding. Having comlained to the waitress nothing was done to remedy the problem.
