The best octopus we have ever tried ! They gave us bread and bruschetta as a starter. Though the bread was microwaved touched with bare hands :/. Got the black spaghetti with shrimps grouper as a starter. The portion was big - like a main course, sauce was too good. Ate it immediately ! Main course we ordered the seabass in sale octopus in garlic. God bless ! Both portions were big. The texture was so moist of the fish ! Octopus had such a delicious sauce. Gave it a 4 because, the restaurant is a band club, therefore inside was not the best appearance. No ac were installed but only fans. I think it can be improved. However food was Def 5/5 ! And so worth it !!!

After several attempts of trying to get a table for dinner at a top rated restaurant on Google in Valletta and being turned away as they were all full booked, we came across this restaurant. We found the food to be decent but not amazing. The poached egg with my asparagus starter was a little overcooked as the yolk wasn’t runny. We also found the roast vegetables with our mains to be overcooked as they were too hard. The main issue with restaurant however is the service. It was extremely slow. It took nearly three quarters of an hour from us first ordering to receiving our starters. The wait for our mains wasn’t much better. This spoiled the experience. Shame, up to this point all the restaurants we had eaten at in Malta had been great.
Amazing! Atmosphere inside was not so great as it is more of a social club, but OMG the food!!! Mouthwatering and at a very reasonable price. Will surely visit again

Delicious food. Really enjoyed our experience. This place is always booked, so best to book early! It's great that lots of locals come here for family lunch and occassions. The restaurant is beautiful, the staff is lovely and the food is great! I highly reccommend King's Own Band Club!
Great people great service and most of all great food. It is the most expensive meal we have had in Valletta but it has also been the the best value for money.
We have been travelling around Europe for weeks and have been eating out every day and this is the BEST place we have eaten. The flavours where spot on and very reasonably priced. The staff where very professional and welcoming in a beautiful setting.
Huge portions good service and not expensive at all! We tried the pasta alla carbonara and it was very good the hamburger was fresh and tasty too.
