My wife and I moved from Quebec to Ontario and we tried hard to find a job in Kingston but were not successful so we went to ACFOMI for help. Jackie & Kim were extremely helpful and I really appreciate them and the entire ACFOMI team. The door was always open for us and they went the extra mile in making sure they helped us with our job search process. I would recommend them to anybody who is looking for employment. They are extremely helpful and they delivered top-notch advice. They were also a great place to learn about Kingston. We love them … THEY ROCK!

This is THE place to go if you are looking for work. My sessions were all in English, but the staff are bilingual, either way they have you covered! My counsellor Jackie was super helpful, super professional and I felt like she really listened to my needs and questions. Polishing my resume, helping me access community resources that I would have had no idea were available, building my confidence, helping me return to college as a mature student... she was beside me every step of the way. Job searching is not easy, and I am so grateful I had my employment counsellors support and ACFOMI to help me find a great job during this pandemic! Thank you!
I have been working in Human Resources for the past 30 years in Eastern Ontario and for the first time in my life I found myself in need of assistance with my resume, LinkedIn profile, and job search assistance. I met with Jackie Aalders from ACFOMI and she was very personable, supportive, informative, professional, and very knowledgeable. With Jackie recommendations I changed my resume, LinkedIn profile to current market trends and was given numerous tips on job search. I would not hesitate in recommending ACFOMI to anyone in need of support for their resume, job search, etc.
Not useful unless you are french. My wife was told there was nothing they could do for her. However, her friend was given a red carpet roll out. Only difference was she could speak french. So sounds like they are amazing for the french, but are pretty useless for everyone else.
