Absolutely love it there. The best place to get everything you need. Every staff member going out of their way to help me everytime I go there. I've been everywhere in Ontario and I tell you this store as far as I'm concerned has the best #1 customer service bar none. That my opinion and I strongly stand by it. I called at a busy time on a Monday morning and couldn't get through via phone so I sent an email through their portal. It was answered promptly and thoroughly by Mike Hill. When I went to pick up my items, the staff were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Safety Protocols were adhered to impeccably. I definitely recommend this well stocked location, way better than the Gananoque location.

Had a rain check for a sander that was on backorder since last August. Finally came in today. To their credit the problem was with the distribution centre being out of stock, but the parent company should support local stores better. Bonus is the local store has allowed a little portable cafe to open up on their lot. Very pleasant service, and made a delicious latte. She also makes sandwiches for lunch. Nice clean food truck with excellent selection of hot coffees and teas barista style. I hope it stays open all winter. Currently open to 3pm daily. I wish it was open until 7pm as I would grab a hot drink and snack before open mic where I play at Spearhead Brewery tap room on Friday evenings.

Atkinson Home Hardware has been my go-to hardware store since moving into the west end. The facility was incredibly well managed throughout the pandemic with helpful and friendly staff alongside rigorous safety provisions. Prices of many goods are marginally higher to the larger home improvement stores but well worth the extra attention to customer service and satisfaction.
