I sincerely hope that my experiences with this company and that of my former housemates have been outliers and that the remainder of customers of BPE Development have not been treated as we were. However, in my experience, if you value your time, safety, money, and patience, you will not allow them to get mixed up with BPE Development. As a former student tenant of BPE Development who had to put up with electrified plumbing, dysfunctional electrical outlets and shorts throughout the house, rotten garbage left in crawl spaces prior to move-in, 'forgotten' internet bill payments, persistent mould, unfit gas fireplaces, which were put back into operation by BPE Development immediately following a near-fire, against an inspectors orders for it to be taken out of service, and without any tenants knowledge, that is, it would have been if BPE Development was aware that the inspector had left a summary of his inspection for the safety of the tenants, dishonesty surrounding by-law complaints, as well as brute, unsympathetic management of the resultant discomfort caused by each of these issues and the revolving door of service men and women, who should have been brought in prior to the house being listed for rent, I cannot stress the following to potential tenants, especially paying parents of said tenants enough: Look elsewhere if you want the landlords you are going to be paying substantial money to to conduct themselves like qualified, capable, and compassionate professionals, who would not have to resort to enlisting family members to attempt to bump up their Google Review rating score.
