I have never been to this place personally but I would like to know how my grandfather went into this home to have rehabilitation on his hip and didn't last for more then 1 week ! He is a very healthy independent man and he was calling saying these people were hurting him unfortunately I didn't hear about this until after he passed away it makes me sick I wouldn't let this place walk my dog I want some explanation to this matter why my grandpa has passed away so sudden and why they are not trained professionally to call when someone stops breathing my aunt said when the lady called the first thing she said was ur dad did so good in physical therapy but I had to do cpr on him paramedics are working on him now ill let u know whats going SMH that should have been the first thing out of her mouth I hope this helps sa ve some one else from all the pain and heart ache were going through God bless

The staff are all very nice and they are always willing to chat. I am very social so this is important to me. I love my apartment, it is very easy for me to manage. There are lots of things going on. You can even have a pet if you want one. I also spent time at Kingston Care Center of Sylvania for rehab. They went out of their way to help me and make me stronger. Kingston is the best!

My mother was a resident at Kingston for 4 years before she passed away last summer. She began in Assisted Living and spent her last 2 years in Memory Care. Aside from being grateful for excellent care provided by the staff and the guidance given by the administration, I want to share our family’s perspective. We view Mom’s time at Kingston as a true gift. Following her stroke we knew she could not live alone. Kingston provided the support she needed physically and allowed us to be her family. We enjoyed our days together while the staff were her caregivers. This is something I did not realize was needed until we were in the middle of it. To be able to spend quality time and know that she was well cared for on all levels was a gift that cannot be measured. I would also like to say that working in this environment is very challenging. It is apparent to me, as a former Physical Therapist, that this staff has been properly trained on how to transfer, maneuver patients, provide hygiene care, assistance with feeding, and be in tune to residents needs as they come up. This was especially true in Memory Care. I always felt the staff genuinely cared for Mom. It was especially evident the week that she passed away as we all shared tears and memories together. Kingston and it’s caring staff will always hold a special place in my family’s heart.

I really like my apartment and having my own things. We have fun live entertainment. I was a phys ed major and I think the exercize classes are really good. Everyone both staff and residents are very nice.
