The garden is large with plenty of foliage and flowers. It is still early so a lot of flowers are not in bloom yet. May is usually best. Take the tram to see the different areas and the Chapel. I was disappointed as there was a wedding in the Chapel and we missed it. We paid to see the gardens and the Chapel. Call to make sure that there is not a wedding going on the day you plan to visit. Masks are required in common areas.

We went for bloom fest and strawberry swing. While the blooms were slightly lacking after the recent freeze, there was still a lot to be seen. There were large swaths of beautiful flowers and water decor, an awesome children's garden with toy plants to play with, fun pathways to walk through, a picturesque chapel that can be used as an event space, and a cute little gift shop. We definitely didn't make it everywhere in the few hours we had before out daughter's naptime, but it was a fun experience that we all enjoyed.

What botanical garden, during bloom fest? I could have looked at my neighbor's dandelion "garden" yard, for free. The winter lights display is alright though.

The light festival makes me so happy this winter. I so much enjoyed the details of light decorations in the garden by keeping social distancing. The staff cares a lot about the safety and that makes me feel much enjoyable. My family had a great time with a beautiful winter garden. Apple cider was so delicious and warm enough. Looking forward to the garden with greens this spring.

Awesome holiday lights display, definitely worth the trip. Tiki bar offers a good selection and tasty treats, sugar cookie with the whip cream is the best! Stay by the fire lamp if is too chilly will keep you warm. And don't forget to say Hi to Santa from a safe distance.

Went there for the Festival of Lights, and have been a few time previous. It is absolutely beautiful! The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The displays they put up are super cool, as well. It was a little chilly, but the hot chocolate and apple cider warmed us up quickly. I would highly recommend this place for any kind of outing, be it a date, a family excertion, or just a nice walk in a park.

I drove south to see the Kansas City Powell Gardens this morning and was surprised with all of the Nelson-Adkin's museum of Fine Art at the Powell Garden's Art! Like all of my other reviews on this issue this morning, I didn't take any photos of this attraction, however if you're interested in contacting the Powell Garden's 30-35 minutes from the Kansas City area, please do!

We walked all the trails and took lots of amazing photos. A humming bird greeted us...flitting between the flowers at the pond full of lily pads. We had a short visit with the little goats on the property...the baby white goats were simply adorable. We went inside the Chapel to reflect on our visit and take a beautiful lake view photo. A trek up their Silo provided yet another photo op, as well as a nice rest, a glass of wine, a sandwich box, and an ice cream bar for dessert at the Snack Bar below--with plenty of patio seating. Powell Gardens is a wonderful place with a beautiful grounds, animal interactions, fun trails, and many different interesting sites to visit with family and socially distance in regards to COVID19. Plus, the on-site Tram is really appreciated when you reach the end of the trails and would like quick ride back to the entrance!
